Travel tips

You will still be able to get to where you need to go, but consider the following:

Plan Ahead. Journey times will be increased so please allow extra time.
Consider an alternative route:. To reduce congestion, road users are advised to avoid travelling in Moseley and divert via Yardley Wood Road and Stratford/Warwick Roads from the east and Bristol/Pershore Roads from the west.
Follow local diversion route:. Oxford Rd is closed at the junction of St Mary’s Row for road users. Local traffic should follow the signed diversions via School Road.
Public Transport. Bus routes will not be altered during these works but journeys on 1, 35 41 & 50 bus services may take longer so plan your bus journey and allow more time for travel.
Cycling & Walking. Think about your options and if you are travelling locally for a short distance, consider walking or cycling to your destination.
Can you change the time you travel?. Avoid peak times where possible especially between 07:00-09:00 and 14:00 – 16:00 to avoid school hours to reduce delays.
