Westside Birmingham City Centre

Trams have been running from Grand Central stop by New Street station up to Edgbaston Village on the Hagley Road by Five Ways since 2022.

As preparations continue for the opening of Phase One of our new Birmingham Eastside extension down Albert Street through to Millennium Point, Birmingham, there will be some changes to timetables and service levels along Broad Street.

This is to ensure that a safe and reliable service can run over the whole network,

From Sunday 19 October to Thursday 30 October, trams will only operate between Wolverhampton Station and Birmingham Library stop.

Essential works will take place during this time along Broad Street.

Metro tickets will be accepted on all National Express services running along Broad Street.

Timetables will also be amended during November and December while driver training takes place.
