Cross City Rail Line Closure

Rail engineering work is taking place in the Aston area impacting services from Birmingham New Street towards Lichfield Trent Valley and Walsall from Monday 27 May to Saturday 1 June.

The Cross City Line will run from Redditch / Bromsgrove to Birmingham New Street only. Rail replacement buses will operate between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley.

Rail replacement buses will operate between all stops from Birmingham New Street and Tame Bridge Parkway. Some services from Birmingham to Rugeley Trent Valley will make additional calls at Hamstead and Bescot Stadium.

What should you do?

• Please check your travel arrangements at West Midland Trains and allow extra time for your journey
