An improved journey planning experience
Starting from Thursday 26 February 2026, we are making it easier to plan your trips by upgrading our current journey planning tool.
We have added a new feature that provides real-time updates to help you travel more smoothly across different modes of transport.
The new feature, powered by Citymapper, combines information to help you plan your trips easily, whether you're using buses, walking, cycling, or other options.
The added benefits of our new journey planner include:
- Accurate Real-Time Information: Get live updates on departures, arrivals, and disruptions for different transport modes to reduce stress and wait times.
- Multi-Modal Routes: Combine public transport, walking, cycling, and more to find the quickest, most efficient route.
- Detailed Step-by-Step Navigation: Use "Go Here" features with clear instructions, including walking directions, exact train/bus times, and station exits.
- Personalisation & Customisation: Save your home and work addresses, see "Get Me Home" options, and set preferences to avoid stairs, crowded stations, or certain transit types.
We are the latest to introduce this integration to the region, following many major cities across the UK and Europe.
